The Tatar Focus Team (TFT) exists to see God known and glorified among the Volga Tatars in the Republic of Tatarstan. The Tatars are a Turkic Muslim people group located in the heart of and subject to the Russian Federation. There are only an estimated 0.01% of Tatars who know and follow Jesus Christ.
The TFT and the Midland Free congregation are committed to this work for as long as it takes. But this vision can only be accomplished through engagement of people like you at Midland Free in collaboration with strategic partnerships with stateside churches, missions agencies, and national and ex pat field workers – all undergirded by intercessory prayer.
LEARN. We would be happy to give you or your group an introduction to the Tatars and Midland Free’s Focus.
PRAY. Pray regularly for the Tatar people, our partners and the Tatar Focus Team. See sidebar for opportunities.
GIVE. Give financially to strategic projects in Tatarstan.
GO. Use your God-given gifts on a short-term ministry trip to Tatarstan.

To learn more about this adult short term ministry trip, come to an informational meeting on Sunday, March 22, 2020, after the second service in Room 309. A light lunch will be provided for $5 per person. Adults only please.
Please register online so we know how much food to provide. Thank you!

Pastor Mikail and Alfia Tutikova lead a church in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan. Their church is part of the association of churches Midland Free has partnered with for the sake of Gospel. They are both passionate about studying the Bible and teaching others how to "correctly handle the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). In addition, Alfia serves as the English translator for United Kingdom and American visiting teachers at the Eurasian Ministry College.
They will be with us Friday, April 3, 2020, from
7:00 - 9:00 PM for a dessert and coffee reception in Room 309 (Adult classrooms). Don't miss this chance to meet them in person and hear what they have to share. Families are welcome and encouraged to attend with children over 10. Come!
