J.A.M. (6-8th Grades)

J.A.M. stands for Jesus and Me. Our youth group meets weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:15 pm to 8:00 pm during the school year. We also offer Sunday School classes every Sunday morning during the school year at 9:00 am in the 200 wing (more information below).

Students do not need to attend Midland Free to be a part of our youth group. We have over 20 adult and high school student leaders who are committed to building relationships with students in our youth group.

We offer tons of fun activities, including gym games, crafts, board games, video games, foosball, air hockey, pool, and ping pong. Each evening ends with a Bible-based lesson that is relevant and meaningful to middle school students.

Sunday School for 6-8th graders—9:00 am

Do You want to grow? Do you want to know God’s Word? Do you want to become a disciple maker of Jesus? Then we have an amazing resource for you! We offer fantastic classes on Sunday morning (at 9:00 am throughout the school year) for students in 9-12th grades. Middle school and high school classes are broken out by grade.

The goal of our Sunday School program is equip you to know God’s Word and how to apply it to grow into spiritually mature disciples of Christ.

  • Annually: Students mature in a faith relationship with Jesus Christ and understand more deeply who he is, who they are in Christ and how to follow him.  Love learning and enjoy Sunday School.
  • Overall: Students graduate from JAM and continue to X-treeme with a healthy Biblical foundation and an authentic experience of encountering the Living God of the Bible to walk with Him daily into their future. Also being able to feed their faith.

Discipleship Groups

Hey students in 7-12th grades! Are you looking for authentic relationships with your peers? Discipleship Groups (DG’s), small groups, may be what you have been seeking.

Groups of up to 10 male or female students of the same grade meet weekly during the school year. Two adults who want to invest in your life lead the group.

We want you to stay in the same group as you grow together in Christ from 7th grade through graduation. Students can join a DG any time, but most DG’s begin in the fall.

See link to application below.
