Are you looking for an opportunity to meet the needs of others in our local community this Christmas? Midland Free has adopted the North Midland Family Center in the northern part of Midland County and Central Park School in the Grove Park area. We have a long-term commitment to the families in these areas. We invite you as an individual, a family unit or a Life Group or a Discipleship Group to participate in one or more of the following opportunities.
Brrr, it gets cold outside in Michigan in the winter. Help the children at The North Midland Family Center say warm this winter. Please pick up a tag at the GoLocal display in the south lobby and return the items to the North Midland Family Center Christmas Party on December 15 or drop off at the church on or before December 10. No need to wrap the items. Please place the items in a bag and adhere the tag to the bag so that we know the sizes and items included.
Adopt a family from Central Park School, which is in the Grove Park area of Midland. You are able to purchase gifts and deliver them personally to the family or deliver them to the school.
A Christmas wish list will be provided to you one week after sign-up. Sign-up begins Nov 12 at the GoLocal board or via email. All we need from you are a few details:
Gift drop-off date is Tuesday, December 19, between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm at Central Park School or you can coordinate directly with the family to deliver the gifts in person. Any questions? Contact Jacob Bartuszevige at firstname.lastname@example.org. (back to top)
