community partners

Many who serve at Midland Free have been inspired by the Holy Spirit to begin a new ministry to those in need in our community. From these grass-roots efforts GoLocal supports the following endeavors:

  • Caregiving Network - A Christian non-profit agency that partners with local churches, community organizations, and individuals to provide resources to Midland County residents who are unable to meet their basic needs.
  • Forgotten Man Ministries - Believes in the redemption, rehabilitation and restoration of inmates through Jesus Christ.
  • Open Door - As an extension of the Church, Midland’s Open Door exists to lead the homeless, hungry, and hurting to transformed lives in Christ through the practice of biblical hospitality, the proclamation of the Gospel, and engagement in biblically based programs and services of excellence. We desire to see every man, women, and child that God brings to our door experience the life-transforming power of the Gospel of Christ, becoming faithful disciples and stewards who enjoy God, utilize their gifts to serve others, and lead godly, interdependent lives.
  • Pregnancy Resource Center - Pregnancy Resource Center of Mid-Michigan provides reliable and confidential information and services regarding: Pregnancy options, Pregnancy tests, Clothing/resources for mother and baby, Post-abortion questions, Ultrasounds (some restrictions apply), Pre-natal classes, Healthy relationship/lifestyle choices, STI Testing, Parenting classes.
  • SpringHill - Experiences for youth, families and groups which are created to center on God and His message of hope found in Jesus. Whether at an overnight camp, day camp, or youth retreat, kids are given time and encouraged to examine God’s plan for their life through practical sharing and teachable moments throughout the day.
  • Young Life - We believe in the power of presence. Kids’ lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God’s love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose. Young Life starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship.
  • Events targeted to reach our community with the gospel message of Jesus Christ.
